The Indianapolis Half Marathon is next Saturday (October 8th), and we really hope you can make it out to serve with us! Here is some important information for you if you decide to volunteer at the race.
The Details
The race will be held at Fort Benjamin Harrison on the east side of Indianapolis. We need the greatest amount of volunteers between 9:00am and noon to help with grilling and serving the post-race meal.
Our Location
Our worksite will be just north of Fortune Academy at 56th and Lawton Loop West Drive. Just look for the grills and large white tents within the loop.
Parking
The Indianapolis Provides free parking for the event. Click here to get the bird’s eye view map of the parking sites.
Several of the roads in the area will be closed off at certain times of the day. Please see the Marathon Traffic Plan to find the best route.
